This is a good little place to tie one on. Run by an Aussie guy its naturally filled with Aussie knick knacks. Its a good local and popular with tourists and the locals. Its not cheap but then again nothing here is.
You will turn and take a calm walk on the beach side, to enjoy the maximum of the perfect views, if you have the occasion to pass the night in Mont Saint Michel and wake up early to see the dawn, it is *beleive me* not less magical than the sunset!
One of the few places that coud gather all the beauties of the monuments and nature and the sea life, sailors, boats sattled on the beach site, when the sunset comes it is time to enjoy a living museum!
Unfortunately I couldn't catch the very first mouments of the special lights of the Eiffel tower, I was on the way to it, but I could take a picture from far here, so if you enlarge it you would see how wonderful it is!actually in special days of celebration the tower is lighted in this way all the night!but the day i took the picture was a normal day!
On the way to check the Eiffel tower at night for the first time, I took the direction of the river left side and walked, and then I saw the beautiful French flag , the wind was making it really straight so I was happy to have had catch this moument at night!
A very beautiful and alike situation of the beautiful lights near the river in Paris, beautiful bridges and building are lighten and reflected on the page of the river water!and I aksed myself, why not to adore Paris?
While leaving the gorgeous Louvre I liked the way the famous city is brighting at night, the Louvre is more famous to be lighted in a bad way, so my advice is always if you want to have strong emotions, visit the famous places at night, it is so impressive!
There is in the first floor a whole section for the Egyption treasures, now here I agree it was stolen from its home land, but again I am positive, I see it in the good side of the story, it is better to be well kept and good visited in the Louvre, than in other museums!
Mona Lisa protected as if it is something from the other space, but I do understand why, you will never find a time during the day with no bunch of visitors around this picture, after I verify if she has the mestirious look, and it is true, you'll have the impression she is looking at you from all the different corners!
Question... What is the second most famous thing in the Louvre after the Mona Lisa?Answer: it is the beautiful sculpture of Venus,for sure this is the right answer, and I was so impressive to stand beside this gorgeous piece of art and take a photo with, and I felt as I was took back on the years to Old Greece!
