The village of Ambleteuse consists of beautiful white houses with a red roof. We had seen a photo in a guidebook that showed these houses close to the sea, but when we arrived there we were a little disappointed to see that photo didn't correspond to reality.
Ambleteuse is not mentioned on many tourist guides, which explains why there are almost no tourists there. Thus the village and the sea have managed to keep their original atmosphere.
There is a long beach made of nice shingles that you shouldn't take home.
The Slack is a small river that flow into the Manche at Ambleteuse. This natural site is called "the Slack downs".
