Located around 5 kilometres north of Le Touquet, on the road to Boulogne, is the Etaples Military Cemetery.
The cemetery contains over 10,000 burials from the First World War and just a few from the Second World War.
Located right by the roadside, it is a sobering site when you come across it.
You can pull over here to have a closer look. We just looked over the fence, but you can go into the cemetery if you wish.

The beach was so big you couldn't see the sea. It rained. Parking is horrendous. Excellent restaurants, plenty of seafood. Not much to do though, especially when it rains !
