Chambre du Commerce and Belfry
First a precision: Lille has beautiful and well 2 belfries and the one of which speak to us here is the smallest one of the two.
The architect Mary Louis Cobbler constructs the buildings between 1910 and 1921 (the first war interrupted the works!) Does not visit itself! The belfry contains the bells of 27 cloches(bell sometimes it "P'tit Quinquin, see the things à do)
The building is style Renaissance Flemish and the belfry peaks to 70 meters hight.
As all the belfries, it is classified heritage world-wide by the UNESCO

D'abord une précision: Lille a bel et bien 2 beffrois et celui dont nous parlons ici est le plus petit des deux.
L'architecte Marie-Louis Cordonnier construit les bâtiments entre 1910 et 1921 (la première guerre interrompis les travaux!) Ne se visite pas ! Le beffroi renferme le carillon de 27 cloches(sonne parfois le "P'tit Quinquin, voir les things to do)
Le bâtiment est de style Renaissance Flamande et le beffroi culmine à 70 m de hauteur.
Comme tous les beffroi, il est classé patrimoine mondial par l'UNESCO

Belffroi and Chambre de Commerce were built in the beginning of XX century by Louis Marie Cordonnier and it is situated not far from the red-style city hall (built in 1932). Belffroi is 76 meters high and is a symbol of commerce in the city.

Chambre du Commerce and Vieux Lille.
This building is not all that impressive. It's nice, but the real beauty lies in the quarter of Lille called Vieux Lille, or 'Old Lille.' Here, the streets are narrow and beautiful, the houses and courtyards have not changed much at all in the past few centuries. The Flemish architecture stands out on the townhouses.
This quarter is where all the haute-couture fashion boutiques are. You can find many different shops for varying styles and prices. Many people shop these stores during the day and then hang out in the quarter at night.

The Chamber of commerce and industry was designed by Louis Cordonnier, the architect who built the stock exchange in Amsterdam. The beffry is 76m high.

The most striking building on the Place du Théâtre is undoubtfully the new stock exchange with its belfry. It was built in neo-Flemish style in 1906. Nowadays it houses the Chamber of Commerce.

This tower is quite a landmark at 104 metres high. It was built in 1932 by Emile Dubisson who was inspired by Flemish architecture. Situated just off of the rue de Paris.
