    No, this is not the Pisa tower ....

    .... but well the city hall belfry. But with its 106m high, it didn't fit very well in the picture ;-) You can see it wherever you are. It was used in the past to give the alert in order to gather the men-at-arms.

    Belfry (on a dull day)

    The town hall belfry is a 104m high Bell tower that is supported by the two sculptured giants Lyderic and Phinaert who were legendary founders of the city.
    It opened in 1932 and was the crowing glory of the new town hall.
    It is an inspiration to Flemish architecture
