Fondest memory:
During a weekend stay in Nord-Pas-de-Calais we had a short visit to this town before going back home. We arrived at 11 a.m. and found ourselves a parking space on the biggest and most centrally located square of Saint-Omer: Place Foch. We were lucky, on Sunday you don't need to pay.
Place Foch was a good starting point for a short walk around the city.
Fondest memory: As we only had time for lunch and a quick visit to the city, we decided first to do a little walking around Place Foch, than to go down the stairs towards the ramparts and the arboretum, walk along the ramparts towards the other side of town and going back up through the wall towards the Notre Dame Cathedral to have a short visit inside. Back to Place Foch for a nice lunch and by 3 p.m. we were back on the road heading home.
