Albi with its amazing fortress cathedral is a must for anyone venturing in southwestern France. About 80 km NE of Toulouse it was also the family home of Toulouse-Lautrec and there is a museum in his honor next to the cathedral. The cathedral itself is incredible as much for its austere exterior as for its richly decorated interior. Leave a Comment
