Maps

by dr.firas

Maps are so needed in Paris, you have almost a map for every kind of transportation, metro, bus, trams, and also the maps of the city, you could be lucky and have free ones like Fiona *parsix* while passing the metro, some times they put free maps *it is rare* :-)

Pills after great big parties are needed :-P

by dr.firas

Actually you won't need any of them, but I always keep my bag full of Asperin as you'll never know when headache attack!especially after hot slasa nights like the one we had, too much fun, no sleeping, and lots of drinks, and loud music, better to have with you than wasting your time and searching in Pharmacies for the magical Pills LOL

Change money!

by dr.firas

You'd better change the money to Euro in your country than making it in Paris, in France you will lose the good price of the changing, I did it and changed the $ to Euro's before I came to France, please remember that too!

Don't forget

by dr.firas

Paris is a huge city, full of activities and nice places to visit, so you will need really your camera equipments, and loads of films for it!please get ready to have many pictures, so better to have all that you need, to avoid the waste of time in searching for places to buy it, it is much better to have everything, and just enjoy the maximum in that wonderful city!

by dr.firas

Be prepared

by Arm-Chair-Hero

If your heading up into the mountains you have got to use some common sense of the differance in temperatures...we was all prepared with warm clothing etc in easy to get places in the cab...we still got caught out at the place of the photo due to high altitude and a strong wind. Everything that could go cold on the body went cold and it just wasnt the teeth that was chattering.

Gravity

by Arm-Chair-Hero

Its a good idea when you are off roading to try and bring the weight down off your roof rack...if you are just out for the day and have a base camp, best thing is run light as possible. If the roll of the vehicle or the possible damage to equipment inside doesnt get you then the dust will. On a lot of the tracks the dust is really bad and what ever is inside will get totally coverd in dust...run light as possible but dont forget the essentials.

Clothing At Hand

by Arm-Chair-Hero

Easy access water proof bags or boxes....boxes are better for you can store them more neatly and safely, but it will cost you around 200 pounds for reasonable quality storage boxes. Trainers are fine for this trip but flip flops are essential for when the day is finished...your feet tend to get a bit hot and suffocated after a full days driving in hot temperatures. Have your flip flops within easy reach for when you finish. Hahaha essential to carry toilet roll at all times...many places dont supply this. If you have a digi cam it might be an idea to run out and buy lots more memory...we did find a place to down load our photos to a disk in France but the views etc etc might make you take a lot more photos than you would normally. Quick easy erecting tents are essential for if the weather turns bad...main thing is organisation of what you have taken so you can unpack and pack in the...

by dr.firas

Push me, and then just touch me, till I can get my Satisfaction, LOL like Benny Benassi sings LOL well don't forget your Umbrella, you'll never know when it could rain, and it rained indeed the day before, so i was lucky to have an umbrella and shelter, This photo shows Dr.Firas helping in extracting the old layer of the door before painting, but I was singing that stupid song all the time LOL LOL LOL

Pack

by dr.firas

Don't forget to pack your umbrella, with warm clothes, and jackets, even have a hat to keep you warm, nice sweets could give you energy for the day, and I always like to offer some to kids I meet in my travels, I feel good after this!
