Behuard Church Built into
Rock

One wall of this 15C church is built into a rock outcropping. On this wall inside i are votive chains donated by a lucky galley escapee. The 16C choir stalls have salacious misericords. (see Customs Tip under Pays de la Loire). There are 15C stained glass windows donated by Louis XI (who also paid for the church) with a crucifixion and himself as donor in one window.
