Île d' Yeu Things to Do
The old castle was build during the 14th century, from stones. Probably the oldest monument on the island, surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The visit was interesting. I dont remember having visited a stoned build castle but it was really cool.Related to:

Since the island is very small, it is really turned on biking. Most of the places are less than 30 minutes biking from Port Joinville and by biking you will enjoy all the landscapes. No need to be Lance Armstrong since you will do small distances. Highly recommanded.
Many rental shops in the island.

Went there at 10.30 and was pretty sure it was going to be closed to new comers. Hopefully not, so we could have diner. It actually is a great thing to know this place is open for people coming after 10.30. The food is really good, not a hype gastronomy restaurant but very honest and tasty food for a good price.
Favorite Dish: I took the menu, with a good fish soup and a very good tuna steak. The wine was good for its price!
