This is must here , very much into movies, and the Gaumont is a nice branch of good cinemas in France. This one is at the popular place du commerce with tramway and bus stop right in front.

One of the best theaters of France, now combine management with that of Angers. The theater Gasclin is an institution at Nantes in place Gasclin.
It was opened on March 23 1788. Damaged by fire in 1796 it was rebuilt from 1811 by the same architect who built it, Mathurin Crucy. ordered rebuilt after the visit of emperor Napoleon Ier and it was re opened again in 1813.It has a Capacity of 874 persons.
The exterior you can see the 8 statues on top each column on the roof above representing 8 ladies dating from the time of the reconstruction. The same sculptor who did them also did the statues of Molire and Racine in the vestibule of the theater inside. Inside is an Italian style theater with outside a néo-classic style.

Dress Code: very elegant this is the class of the city especially on late evening events but generally I do been here in a suit even if without a tie.
Lieu Unique is just that...a Unique Place. But it was always fun to hang out there, even though the music was just really strange. During the day time I think it's just a factory for LU brand products (mostly biscuits/cookies).
