Beaujoire Stadium had a major refurbishment for the 2007 Rugby World Cup, although it is home to the Nantes Football team.
It seating capacity is 38,285, with 220 seats reserved for the handicapped.

Inside the stadium you will find bars and snack places, toilets for both sex's and souvenir shops.
There is limited parking.
You can take a tour of the Stadium bookable through the Nantes tourist office during the months of July and August.
Tram line 1 from the City goes to La Beaujoire.

Dont know anything about skateboard. Only tried once at 24 and it was not glorious. Anyway, for skateboarders, there is a skateboarding park in the city center, near the hospital CHU. Recenly read it is the first European streetpark integrated in the city center.

Nantes used to be a great soccer team. It still is sometimes, when they reach top levels of French soccer championship.

Nantes has definitely one of the best formative school. Deschamps, Makelele or Karembeu used to play in Nantes.

For soccer fans, going to La Beaujoire might be a good experience. Discovering the famous "jeu à la nantaise": an intelligent and team based way of playing. And if lucky, you may go to see them during one of our great season.

FYI, Nantes has won reently 2 championship over the last 15 years. This year, they are not playing that successfully.

Equipment: Nothing special to bring. You can buy beer and scarfs there. Still, you cant bring the beer inside the stadium.

The year 2003 is the 100th anniversary of Tour de France. This game also took place in Nantes on 26th July 2003. It was a pity that it rained a lot.

In summer, you can see many people biking in Nantes because it is a flat city with beautiful view.

Built in 1984. Now an 38,500 all seater ground.

Now it rained all day and was bitterly cold judging by my head gear in on of the photos.

I've unfortunately not yet had the opportunity to see this soccer / football team play, but I've heard Nantes has a good team. Don't hesitate to go support them!
