    Miniature golf - Swingtime!

Well ... what to do whenever the three ladies decided to go for a day of shopping, leaving two men behind at the campground? Of course a nice and refreshing dive in the swimming pool was an option, but on the other hand an exiting game of miniature golf is da bomb :)

The Parc de la Pèg miniature golf center features 18 holes of mini golf fun for the whole family! Set to the theme of the sunny Atlantic coastline of France, its sure to be the most fun that you can have on a mini golf course. It's maybe the most fun and excitement two men can have together :) We just had some fun together, bonding male activity and totally forgot that the women were away. I did not let Sam win the game, but it was a hard battle. We rewarded ourselves with a nice refreshment once we were finished. Game on!

Equipment: Just rent whatever you need at the ticket office.

Swimming pool - Be aware of the free beds.

The Camping The Prairie has all the necessary services avaiblable. The friendly reception and its 'I' point provide all the useful information of the camping itself, the region and its places of interest you could wish for. There is also a large bar-restaurant, with terraces, and a handy take-away and pizzeria for those times you don’t want to cook. But top of the bill is the swimming pool for sure.

At the Camping La Prairie, the large water park boasts numerous attractions. It has a covered swimming pool with children's pool and several water slides. Be aware that the beds are for free, but most of the people already put their bath tower on a bath early in the morning and go off again. A few hours later they appear again and claim their bed with towel on it. I think this is insane! But anyway, just enjoy the beautiful weather and the kids having fun.

Swimming pool - Make room for slides, water games!

Watching the kids splashing into the water.

Gone are simple boring pools! Make room for slides, water games and relaxation. Water parks in the new millennium are made of several pools equipped with slides, currents or bubble pathways. Some campsites go above and beyond and have wave pools, lagoons bordered with sand or indoor spaces reserved for babies and for young mothers. I guess this is the new standard whenever you're visiting a campsite in France. Camping La Prairie is not different.

Just 400 m from the sea and a superb beach, the Camping La Prairie offers sites for tents, caravans and motor homes. Just like the brochure we immediately saw the large pools, a heated, indoor swimming pool, a whirlpool bath and a kids’ pool. These offer fun for young and old , but mostly for our kids, who could spent hours here, for them it was a terrific fun to slide down the water chutes and slides. Nothing could be more invigorating than swimming, playing, sliding and having fun in the pools and on the water chutes and slides. After such stimulating activities, the broad sunbathing decks and deckchairs invited us to read a good book, relax and rest – what holidays is also about!

If you like to stay near stunning coastlines on your camping holidays, France is an excellent choice of destination. The country has numerous coastal regions to choose from - the vibrant and luxurious Côte d'Azur, the beautiful beaches of Royan, and the diverse northern coasts of Brittany and Normandy. In addition to the great beaches and excellent campsites at these destinations, there are many attractive coastal towns to choose from for your camping holidays in France. These are ideal places to visit on day trips, and whether you want to enjoy chic sophistication or historical elegance there is sure to be a town that suits your needs. The coast of the Vendée extends over 200 km of mostly sandy beaches. Right here at the south west coast you will find Saint Hilaire de Riez. Coupled with an exceptionally mild climate, this coastline has long attracted large numbers of overseas and domestic tourists. If you look for peace and quiet on your camping holidays to the Vendee, Camping La Prairie is an excellent place to visit.

One of the huge advantages of Camping La Prairie is the swimming pool, especially when you have kids travelling along. The indoor swimming pool is open from 07-04 to 28-09 and the outdoor swimming pool and aquatic complex is open from 15-05 to 15-09. Enjoy!
