We were taken aloft and enjoyed a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside, it`s very flat around Authon.
To protect the old stone roof a wooden one has been built over the top to form a sort of lid.

Very old, we can`t remember how old as we we didn`t get in there until the Vin D`honour had been consumed and we were all very merry. The Mayor is pointing out some details in the roof.
