The shop of the Chocolaterie Letuffe in Cognac is one of three shops they have. The other ones are in Angoulême and Trois-Palis. Trois-Palis is also the place where you find the production of their chocolate & sugar products. You can visit that place and take a tour through the production which is very interesting (see my Trois-Palis page). Their products are handmade, so consider this when you see the prices... In any case what I tried so far really tastes good!
Open Tuesday to Saturday from 9:15 - 12:30 and 14:30 - 19:30.
At each of the Cognac Estates there is a gift shop conveniently located right a the end of the tour and you will be offered samples before you get there. At Remy Martin bottles of Cognac were priced at 50 euros right up to 1300 euros and there are plenty of other goodies to tempt you too.
After being driven around the estate with full commentary and shown one of the oldest cellars with 100 year old barrels maturing in the gloom we almost felt obliged to but a piece of this fantastic history.
