Annot's swimming pool is very agreable during the summer when the temperature can go well over 30C in the middle of the afternoon.
It is quite small, with a shallow end for children. There are changing cabins, lockers, showers and an ice-cream and drinks stand (it is REALLY hot in the summer)
Open 15 June to 15 September (closed on Tuesdays)
There is no bus service to Annot so if you want to get there by public transport you have to catch the narrow gauge railway Chemin de Fer de Provence or "Train des Pignes" from Nice or Digne.
Favorite thing: I think it is really worthwhile to buy a decent local map. For me the best scale is the IGN 1:25000 map (ie the blue covered offical map). This scale it detailed enough to show the footpaths to enable you to explore the locality both on foot, as I like to do, and the immediate area by car or train. The local TOP25 map is 3541OT and is called Annot: St-Andre-Les-Alpes, Parc Naturel Regional du Verdon. It cost about €8.99
