    Secret desert beaches!!
Actually, I am sorry but I would not tell where it is possible to find it.. cause if I do it won't anymore be the quiet place it is. I just can give a tip... do not be afraid to walk a bit away from town.

For those who rush by, you won't even notice, but Irina immediately was amazed by the enormous bushes of Aloe that were growing on several places in the old town of Antibes, but especially along the boulevard Amiral de Grasse. This tropical fat-plant prooves the subtropical climat along the Cote d'Azur like nothing else, as it dies immediately after one nocturnal frost.

Have a walk in the Old part of Antibes. Enjoy the beautiful old streets of "la commune libre du safranier", the lively provencal market (every morning in summer), and the view from la promenade de l'amiral de grasse.

Hidden in the middle of the old Antibes, it's a nice cathedral.

If you can afford to, try to get out onto the sea - it's absolutely gorgeous! I didn't do this myself, but I found wishing many times that I had a rich uncle with a sailboat...

Just South of Antibes is a peninsula shaped rock stretching into the mediterranean sea. On it many villa's and houses of the obviously quite wealthy. A few wonderful beaches are there, but very difficult to reach as for the limited parking facilities. On Cap Antibes one can find several green and beautiful gardens (Jardin Thuret) and the Sanctuary de la Garoupe (an old holy place with chapel and monastry). Rounding the cape one meets the museum Napoleon, in which a collection of memorabilia from his time as well as before.
