There are two tram lines that run circuits in Avignon. They are about 45 minutes and are not a bad way to get an overview of the city. The cost is 6 or 7 euros. They run April-October from 10:00 to 19:00. My experience is that they are not always on the proper schedule, but we did take one tour and found it enjoyable.
