Crepes, blown glass, and charming village pathways
Favorite thing: Definitely explore the little village. It is situated on a hill, and you must park at the bottom and walk up into the village. It's very charming, as you will see from the pictres! The people are more friendly here than at many locations near the French Riviera.
Fondest memory: Eating at the creperie! The crepes were amazing, and the couple who ran the plave made us feel right at home every time we came in! It was a lovely experience!
La Fête du Pain (The Bread Festival)

From 9 AM to 5 PM
At midday, bread benediction followed by an aperitif.
Bakers of Alpes Maritimes will take turns to carry out demonstrations of bread making. Breads will be baked in the Wood-fired communal oven.
Place du Gaulle - presence of Italian bakers from Liguria.
Place des Arcades - kids will be making breads
Locals are all invited to the most original "gatêau" contest.
No GPS Necessary Here
Favorite thing: If you get lost in Biot, I would have to surmise that you are directionally disabled (or challenged). All kidding aside, biot is tiny and you should have a clear idea of your bearings. However, if you don't, get a map at the tourist office in the village center.
The map in the center is made of mosaic and is beautiful and useful.
Biot is a village of artisans so expect to see some beautiful glass work and other artistic endeavors.
Fondest memory: Biot is a relaxing day trip.
