from the gare biot, cross the busy road and there is a bus stop with very infrequent bus for biot. we got a bus ok, but couldn't find a return , it cost 30 euro for a taxi back to gare boit, about 5 mins. we also cycled , locking the bikes at the car park opposite the tennis and skater park and walking up the hill. well worth the effort.
There is a bus from Nice but we decided on the train for speed and comfort. However, do make note that the train station called Biot is in fact on the coast several kilometres from the actual village. Although you can walk, it is some distance and there is a bus (number 10) which goes to the village fairly frequently.
Arrive at Biot SNCF station, or dismounting the Nice-Cannes 200 bus at Biot station is only part of your journey to Biot village, which is a stiff 3 - 4 km walk inland, and finally up hill. The solution should have been a free shuttle bus Navette Gratuite - and signs alluded to one existing near parking below the village - but nothing appeared at any time. Perhaps the driver was on holiday.
An infrequent local bus attends the village running from Antibes via a maze of industrial estates and the local general hospital, notionally passing near Biot station, so a trip back to Antibes (stop "Gommieres" near Antibes bus station) makes Biot a little more accessible.
