Satisfaction: Very Good
Good for: Business
Anywhere: Wonderful food, but it's better to be...
It's easy to find good restaurants there in Riviera. Food is delicious and made of fresh vegetables and good (I think) meat. But as a vegeterian, French countryside is not so simple place to eat dinner or lunch. There were just few restaurants that had vegeterian food in the menu. If course there is a traditional ratatouille, but who wants to eat same food everyday...=) You can always ask if the cook can make some specialitets for you, but waiters or waitress doesn't use to speak English at all, or if they do speak, they don't understand. I asked for a fresh green salad with tomatos and green beans (good in France), and waiter said that ok, I understand. Yes, yes. But what I got was big steaked salmon(?) and piece of green sallads' leef. So, sometimes it's goos to speak some words of french. Or write them up at least=)
