Doing what everyone does, we were strolling along the seafront looking at the hotels, the boats in the marina, the shops...and that made us hungry.
Set in a pedestrian area, away from the noise and pollution of the traffic, we found a small complex of two restaurants and a bar. One of them, Alba, had an interesting Italian menu so we sat outside under the umbrellas so that we could people watch as we had lunch.
It's a very pleasant spot to spend a couple of hours on the traditional extended French lunch, the menu choice is good, food was top quality, the service efficient and friendly.
Favorite Dish: Geina likes risotto so she had an excellent seafood risotto, the arborio rice cooked perfectly and plenty of fresh seafood. I had an unusual and also excellent chicken in Riesling with ravioli and vegetables which was served in a wonderful creamy sauce in a hot cast-iron oven pan.
Naturally I also had a couple of glasses of rose and an espresso.
All are highly recommended.
