The beaches are the main reason to go to Juan-les-Pins, but we were shocked to find how many of the beaches were private, charging 15 euro a person for a reclining beach chair and a hot shower. In my opinion, they're not worth it. There's numerous free beaches, including a couple well-hidden ones, that are just as nice and well-cleaned. Seek them out and you will be pleased.
By the way, by French common law, the strip of beach closest to the water is public, even if the rest of the beach is private, so you are allowed to stroll through the private beaches along the water and swim there--you just can't pitch an umbrella or lay down a towel.

As I didn't use their WC, I have no idea of where they were.
Fondest memory: Even though it wasn't a cheap private beach, their staff was very nice and courteous.
