Lovely old fountain

Don't miss Vaison La Romaine if you are in the area. Lovely old medieval section of town is really quaint and very pretty.
Some of the oldest and most intact Roman ruins in all of France. Very nice shopping. Just down the road from Malaucine. For more tips visit my VT page on Vaison La Romaine.

Incredible village between Maulacine and Vaison La Romaine. The town is set on a hill which offers spectacular scenery. Very beautiful hike if you park near the main road and walk up the hill to the town. This little village is extraordinary.

The castle at Le Barroux

Visit the pretty town of Le Barroux, just about 15 minutes away. The castle is very beautiful with lovely views of the countryside. The town is very picturesque with no tourisits.

Attractive town of Nyons

Very pretty town with lovely streets and lots to see. Great market on Wednesdays. Just about a 15 minute drive from Malaucine on pretty country roads.
