The yaght harbour of Mandelieu is one of the bigger along the Cote d'Azur. People, lovers of boats or not, can enjoy a walk along and through the harbour to see the various sailing- and motor yaghts. ll shapes and seizes available.

Like many harbour towns along the Cote d'Azur, Mandelieu-La-Napoule tried to keep out pirats by having a small defencive castle near the harbour. The one you see now-a-days however has little historic significance as it is erected completely in the last century and not as safety for the ships that come into Mandelieu. The place however looks very nice with a green exotic garden surrounding it and a small public beach between the castle walls and the harbour kays.

Stefan Says: Stayed there last month (February) for a week. Service is quite good but the building is not the newest anymore. I would choose it only if you dont care for the money. Anyway I havent checked the other hotels around.
Good news to diving men and sea lovers, spending overnight in private boat for night diving started from evening in Mandelieu. Mandelieu is a tourist zone for all water sport activities as you like water skiing, canoeing, kayaking, surfing, fishing, swimming, snorkling, scuba diving.
