Favorite thing: Uphill away from the Gare St.Charles is the arty bohemian centre of Cours Julien. Don't be scared by the colourful graffiti and leftfield edge, this is a great place to come for some entertainment, theatrical or otherwise, or to get an old French BD, or a coffee and a crepe, or just to hang out. And you will love the views across Marseille from this high up.
