Le Graal is the most centrally located of the bars, happy hour is 9-10 p.m beers are 2 euros (usually 4). The other bars are Les Rois Magees, Le Pub, Tapas bar and there is one disco called The Blue Night, but I wouldn't waste your money there.

Always check the ski conditions and weather before you hit the slopes. Insurance is a good idea as people always get injured. Take care when runs join each other, and control your speed, remember it is your responsibility to look out for those lower down.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Skis + poles/snowboard, boots, salopettes, gloves, hat, jacket
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sun cream
Miscellaneous: You can always rent skis/snowboards from the rental shops, I would recommend Pavesi sports

You can rent ski-doo's in Montgenevre for about 60 euros. The best time to do this is at night. Also popular is ice river walking and torchlight ski descents.

Favorite thing: Montgenevre is located right on the Italian border (20 mins from Briancon) and forms part of the milky way. It was the first ski resort in France and has some nice uncrowded slopes... good for beginners.
