Mc Mah.. er ..you can read for yourself by NiceLife Claims to be a good time with anglo friendly barmen, with occasional live music and the inevitable footie on a big plasma. For those who want the benefit of Nice but something familiar from home by way of nightlife. Not unlike other "pub" venues in the Rue de la Prefecture - Master Home and Waynes, or Ma Nolans at the entrance to the Cours Saleya.
Every night a different theme. Leave a Comment Theme: Live MusicDirections: Along Albert 1st gardens and Vieux Nice, near the bus station

A very small bar which has nothing to do with wine despite the name. They have cheap beer, cheap drinks all together and live music every evening. The canadian owner John plays every night a bit and after that there are other bands playing. Lots of "habitués" and different ages. He also have some cheap food, very small menu. Great atmosphere! A bar for the locals, very relaxed and nice, mostly live jazz but they hang the program of the month on the door so you can have a look, the program is also on their website. They sometimes have some theater piece playing in a small backroom, but also other live music. have a look. age around 30 and older. If you like jazz and get the chance to see Dimitri Shapko perform there, do go. I've seen him in another pub in Nice and he's such an amazing saxophone player.

Definitly the most popular place in Nice. A crazy party place that start's at Happy Hour and never slow down until it closes. It becomes completly packed with drinking, dancing people. Always have great live bands performing in the inner room where more people are actually dancing on the tables than there are room on the floor.

Yes, this is a glass of beer (KWAK) by ange_famine Do not miss this wonderful pub. You'll get the opportunity to sample wonderful beers from all around the world. You can choose from an a la carte selection, or try the week's special. The owners are very knowledgeable and their tips reliable. You can enjoy a peaceful and quiet nigt in or a night of fun with your friends. You normally seat on a cosy semi-circular sofa, with screens to protect privacy in between the tables, but you can also hire the backroom for bigger parties. During the day, you can eat paninis and they provide computers with an Internet connection. Your beer tasting stop in Nice IS the Big Ben. Just a few examples: Mc Ewans Barbar Lindemans lambics Mort Subite Maudite Bush Belzebuth Delirium Tremens Kwak Egyptian dates beer ...Imagine a choice that would be twenty times this!! Lady in Red - new FNAC by NiceLife Tickets for all forthcoming major artists performing along the main Riviera towns can be booked here at the FNAC ticket service. Here you will get information on everything happening. Cannes Palais de Festivals is particularly good for world music artists and major international pop performers. And you'll be glad to know the last train from Cannes to Nice at 23.39 will allow you to squeeze in a full concert, including the encore, and still get you home. La Palestre in Le Cannet, the northern suburb of Cannes also plays host to big international artists Nice is a little more oriented to the French audience. The Palais Nikaia usually has good concerts (Rolling Stones anyone?), but don't expect cheap entertainment. Palais Nikiai isn't actually in Nice, its up the Route de Grenoble, in the Var Valley a few miles north of Nice Airport. The good news is that Lignes d'Azur put on a special bus service on concert nights that links the town and the concert hall and gets you home safe and sound Leave a Comment Theme: ConcertAddress: FNAC, 1st Floor, FNAC, Av Jean MedecinDirections: Avenue Jean Medicin

O'Neill's Pub by vivalasteph A traditional pub on the Rue Droite, with a large variety of beers, and SkySports on two screens. A welcome stop if you want to have a pint and catch English Premier League football. Yes, it's a chain, popping up all over Europe, but this is no McDonald's. by Psife A really great Irish pub, filled with really nice people, live music and wonderful staff. We started almost every night there, and made several long-lasting friends, before continuing out into the rest of Nice's nightlife. Show football and rugby games and has several famous theme nights. Metal / rock bar that holds metal nights, goth parties, band promotion evenings. The atmosphere is dark and gloomy, very sophisticated. The posters on the wall change with the theme of each night. The bar is divided into two rooms. Some tables are situated in alcoves and can accommodate several party-goers (8 or 10 people together - you also have small tables). -One room contains a giant screen on which to watch videoclips (or even football ;-) ), you can sit around the bar or in some small armchairs. -The other room is more dance / music orientated. Caution: the ceiling is very low; so don't sport a mohawk if you're really tall! ;-) The staff is nice, the DJs numerous and playing a variety of styles. One night a week you can chose your music in their large catalog. Though the drinks are more expensive than usual, you'll get the opportunity to drink your beer in a horn and spend a very good evening. Admission free for all events (on blind-test nights you can even win prizes).
No particular dress code. The clients are mostly into rock / goth / alternative culture, but you'll be welcomed as any other client if you just happen to pass by and go in for a drink.
