This little gem is well worth looking for. It is full of character, the service is incredibly helpful & friendly & the food is fab! We went in low season so it was very quiet but as it is in a vaulted cellar & some tasteful quiet music was playing there was still a nice atmosphere. Our waiter was very helpful when it came to going upstairs to pick out a bottle of wine from all those on display describing the flavour in detail but not overwhelming us non experts. We ended up with a really lovely bottle of white which tasted of pears (just as described!) called Pinot Gris Touraine (Thierry Puzelat). Our main course was the LA "FAMEUSE" BOUETTE which is similar to a raclette in that it consists of baked potatoes, a cold meat selection, pickles & a beautiful cheese which has been melted! The cheese was stunning & the combination of flavours was a delight. In fact I ate so much that I had no room to try a dessert but the choices sounded wonderful. If you are a cheese lover this will be a real treat, in fact if you even like cheese a little bit you'll find something yummy to eat so head down to the Rue Benoit Bunico & find Baud et Millet!!
