In search of the authentic St. Tropez we found this square in the Old Town, where people were quietly playing their game of petanque. We had some steak on bread with BBQ sauce and Andalouse sauce and we also did some shopping at a local supermarket.

The Citadel, situated in the upper part of town, away from the harbour and the fancy yachts. Admittance euro 2.50/person (May 2010). Great view across the bay. From this high vantage point you'll also get to see the extremely fancy yachts, the ones that are so huge they cannot even enter the harbour. So bring your binoculars! Also some peacocks here (You may remember coming across them when you had a look at my travelogue ..;-)
