is a lovely sandy beach almost six kilometers long situated on the west side of the mouth of the Grand Rhone. It is reached via Salin de Giraud and parking is free. The beach stretches on forever, protected by dunes covered with rare plants. You will find no services, no hotels, restaurants or even grocery stores closer than, But on the beach you may meet a vendor selling French fries or ice cubes, and lifeguards are present for swimmers’ security. The beach is a must for sea kayakers. On the left hand side after the first kilometer the beach is officially reserved for nudists from the sign “Ici on vit nus” to the mouth of the Rhone River.
