Take the 400 or 410 bus from Gare Routiere in Nice to Vence and St.-Paul-de-Vence.

The 400 is a local, making several stops on the way to Vence - the total travel time is about an hour.

The 410 is a direct (it does stop in Cagnes) route to Vence and takes about 50 minutes.

Both of these lines leave Nice every 25 - 30 minutes beginning at 6:55. Last bus leaves at 8:15.

Returning from Vence, buses leave from La Place du Grand Jardin, in front of the tourist office every half hour from 6AM to 7:20PM.

Beautiful walled town

Vence is another "village perché" which is an easy day tip from Nice. Like Biot, the best "thing to do" is to wander, explore, and get lost in the narrow streets and squares. The sign below describes...

St. Paul de Vence
