French restaurants bible is called "le Guide Michelin".It is a 500 pages (at least) red book that lists all the good French restaurants and give them a mark, from 0 star to 3 stars. Notice that the notation is subtile: 0 star doesnt mean the restaurant is awful. It is already a good restaurant since it has been listed on the Guide. Basically, restaurants that already have 1 star provide very high quality food, 2 stars excellent food and 3 stars exceptionnal. There are very few 3 stars restaurant, around 20-30 in the WHOLE France. I personally never had the chance to eat in one of them but it is like if you are going to a gastronomy temple. Among most famous 3 stars are: Lucas-Carton and La Tour d'Argent. Everybody knows them. Well, if you want to have one of your best gastonomy experience in your life, and you are ready to spend at least a 150-200€ bill by person, 3 stars restaurant will...
