Along the canals, there are so many bars, cafe's and restaurants you can choose from and I'm sure they all are wonderful and charming in their own little way.

There are a lot of water activities that can take place on the lake. Unfortunately, it was too cool and raining when I was there, so I didn't have the opportunity to have fun on the water.

Annecy by night is a lovely spectacle, and strolling the streets and canalside promenades is a pleasant way to spend the evening.

There are some nice parks and gardens around the lake shore, good for strolling in, especially in the late afternoon and early evening.

Hiking in the woods (see above). This view looks down onto the town, past the Monastery Chuch mentioned earlier on this page.
