If coming from Switzerland one way of getting to Annemasse is by train. However, the train does not leave from the main railway station! Annemasse has frequent bus services during weekdays, but none in the evening and very few on Sundays. You can also take the train from Annemasse to Geneva-Eaux Vives (abt 15 mins walk to the lake or city centre).
Bus tickets available from driver or in booklets of 10 from tobacco shops (much cheaper).
