    Parc Guy Pape

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

You will not be bothered neither by bicycles nor by motorbikes as they are forbidden. No rollers neither : they are not forbidden but the trail is too steep and there are many parts which have stairs, either open or covered. If you have a dog, it must remain on leash. The lowest part of the trail is properly the Parc Guy Pape, which offers a Mediterranean planted vegetation. The whole site of La Bastille, which faces the south has a Mediterranean microclimate and has a very special vegetation.

The Parc Guy Pape is one of these trails that connect the valley to "la Bastille". It is on the western side of the fort and reaches the valley a few meters away from the "Porte de France". You can walk it up but I advise you to better take the teleferique and walk down !
