This is not a all list, but some of the favorites i had or remember ::) just for example I am having now a Vacqueyras Domaine la Font des Arbouisiers 2013 red, 13 euros bottle of grapes Syrah, Mourvédre, and Cinsault. Its area of cultivation covers two towns Vacqueyras and Sarrians in the dept of the Vaucluse at the foot of the mountains of the Dentelles de Montmirail. One of the first wine of the area to be recognise Côtes du Rhône Villages in 1955, and later AOC Vacqueyras in 1990. From my Vannes NIcolas store ::)
Enjoy it , its wines of France from the Rhone valley.Related to:

No long trunks allowed!
In the Rhône-Alpes region (and I was told all over France), if you want to have a bath in a swimming pool, you have to wear those lycra tiny bathing suit. Trunks are not allowed and paradoxically, trunks are the regular bathing suits in Spain!Related to:

We got the fountain. Now, WHAT?
I found these tricky fountains all over the region and who knows if they're somewhere else...
To get the water out of the fountain, sometimes, you have to twist the golden piece on top (like in this occasion). Other, you have to move some other handles in circles... Hard to guess for a thirsty Spaniard like me!Related to:

I have yet to be in France at the the right time to see the beautiful lavender fields just before the the harvest. There are acres of lavender farms in the Rhone valley flowing down in to Provence. There is a Lavender trail you can follow, about 6 circuits you can take on both regions. The website below is very informative.
