Favorite thing: What do you know about Lyon? Well, I just knew it was the second largest city in France. So if you need it, stop at the tourist office at Place Bellecour for maps and info. All you need is to step off the train station (Lyon Perrache, the one near the city center), walk straight north on Rue Victor Hugo.

You can do your shopping in the town centre of Lyon, Bellecour. As Lyon is
a big city, the town centre is big as well:) The office du Tourisme ( Tourist
office) is situated in Bellecour. You can also find plenty of good restaurants
here.
