Go SHOPPING!! - An activity not to be
missed by the ladies!!!
There is a big shopping mall situated near the train station, Part Dieu,
Grand centre commerciale de Part Dieu. Here you can shop till you drop. They
have some big departmental stores like Galaries Lafayette and also C & A.
There are also small boutiques and a big super market Carrefour. You can find
restaurants in this shopping mall too:)

There are many great places to shop here in Lyon... but I was a regular fixture at the shopping center located right downstairs the Credit Lyonnais Tower/ Pullman Part-Dieu Hotel. ;-)) Lots of great boutiques there; the Japanese department store 'Daimaru' has also set up home inside the shopping center! Amazing. What I found really impressive was that the clothes here are much cheaper than those sold in Paris. I mean, I actually managed to buy myself a Chanel-inspired business suit for (get this) - 300FF! Is this cheap or what?? More shopping tips coming up later!
