lyon wasn t a very touristy place because the city hadn t developped structures for tourists but within the past few years lyon has experienced a real tourist explosion!!luckyly i don t think we have tourist traps yet...i m shure they ll show up later on.You ll get the usual insisting vendors on the streets in st jean and rue de la republique but all you tevellers know how to deal with them by now!! Just include it as a part of your old town visit and walk around, there's not much to do except watching the movement of other tourists around.... Some artists come here to perform in a evening. It may be interesting, too.
