The Fort du Saint Eynard was built between 1872 and 1880 in order to watch and fight the enemies that might arrive across the Chartreuse massif to conquer Grenoble. Once you pass the entrance, you discover a wide yard with on the right vaulted fortified buildings where soldiers lived. Their ir now a small museum, a restaurant and a bar.
