The entrance of the LGM opens on a very long lobby that runs from one end of the building to the other (the restaurant). This lobby, acts as a mall. All the classes, the administration, etc… open either directly or by the intermediary of a short passage into the lobby.

I must say that I have found in another document that the architect was Michel Herbert. I do not know where is the truth but will try to find out.
The California-based computer firm has build a telecommunications research centre in Inovallée Montbonnot and will recruit 200 new researchers over the next three years. "The decision to concentrate development in the Grenoble area came out on top on account of the quality of its engineering talent and its scientific environment" said Sun officials. According to a recent survey by the Boston Consulting Group, the quality of personnel is the prime factor when choosing the location of a new research centre. Sun did not break with this pattern, for in opting for Isère it took into account a talent pool comprising 23 500 people already working in information and communications technology (ICT) and an education system which awards 2 300 degrees in this field every year.
Teaching will be based at Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (INPG), in its new telecommunications department, and at Institut des Sciences et Techniques de Grenoble (ISTG). The latter organization, which is part of Université Joseph Fourier, is opening a section devoted to computer networks and multimedia communications. Each course will have an annual intake of 80 students

The LGM for "Lycée du Grésivaudan, Meylan" (College of the Grésivaudan in Meylan) does not look like older "Lycée" (see Lycée Champollion and Lycée Stendhal in Grenoble). It is a XXIth century college. From a certain distance it looks almost like an airport terminal !
The architecture of the Maison de la Musique, finished in 2000, is very special and has both received both strong support and fierce opposition in Meylan. The architects, Dominique Chapuis and Christine Royer have made the choice of a building with very few openings in order not to disturb the neighboring inhabitants by unwanted sounds and the front of the building is made of thick
