If you go and visit Pussy, and then let people know you have been, be ready for unkind speculation as to your motives and your morals ;-) Checkout the following comment I have received below...

..ever wonder wha's t the meaning of pussy in french?..and yur the kiss and tell kind are yu?... yu've been to pussy and now everybody knows it...:-)
Of course you could go visit and then never tell anyone, but then, where would be the fun in that...
How are you supposed to know if things are overheating and you need to cool down whilst you're in Pussy? Well somebody had kindly put this big thermometer up on the wall. I was there very early in the morning, so you can see it was still pretty cool, but I'm sure it heats up later in the day. If you do overheat, there are plenty of water troughs you can jump in to cool down a little.
You should also take care when driving, some of the roads are very steep, and your car may well overheat too. I would advise you turn off air-conditioning whilst driving around Pussy. Being at a pretty high altitude, you don't need it so much anyway...
I found this warning sign in the middle of the village. It's a little concerning. If you translate the lower half of the sign, it says: "Pussy - Danger of Death, Accessible only by authorised personnel". I had no idea it was so dangerous in Pussy.
Perhaps I should have been more careful?
Just in case you are wondering, the top half of the sign is warning about the high voltage power lines nearby.
It's probably appropriate to paste in my first comment on this page at this point too:

So, you finally got to Pussy huh....? Just hope you stopped by Condom first. ; )
The Alps are a pretty well known Mountain range in the region of France and Switzerland. As with any mountainous region, the roads tend to be very twisty and turney and not of a very high standard. This sign was out warning of potholes in the road. When driving anywhere in the mountains, it always takes you longer than you expect as you can never go too fast due to the many hairpin corners you have to go around at very slow speeds. Take care, some of the drops off the side of the road are very high!
