Chalet Broski - St Martin de Belleville: Cool Chalet

Be careful, skiing is not without risks... a stupid fall on a tuesday and suddenly the rest of your holidays is spoiled...
Well, at least I've been able to stay in the mountains for the rest of the week and enjoyed the atmosphere...
... but that's in these occasions you realise you can't do anything else than skiing in a ski resort (eh ;-) !
Well, reading on the sunny balcony was maybe not the kind of holidays I was expecting but at the end it is still relaxing...
One more lesson ive learned : when buying a ski pass, you always have the possibility to add a complementary insurance. It's definitely worth doing it... this pass is not specially cheap and you feel a bit better to get reimbursed for the part you haven't used...

Best slopes in the skiing area would be imho the red and black ones going down from "Breche de Rosael" and "Cime de Caron".
The cable cars to reach these summits are however quite crowded and it is usual to wait 20-30 minutes before reaching the top...
An alternative is to go to the less crowded area called 'la Masse'

Favorite thing: This is the main 'district' of the resort where you can find the shopping mall and the main services

Favorite thing: 500 meters from 'La Croisette' this is the other main district of the resort, completely independent, with its own restaurant, pubs, shops,...
That's where you can find the cinema, swimming pool and ice arena....

Favorite thing: This is the modern church of 'les Menuires'.
It looks quite impressive but indeed only a small part of it is really used for the cult. The major part of the building is indeed a big parking ;-)
