I am usually impressed by gorges and waterfalls, so I am happy to recommend this one, near the village of Servoz.
Coming down from the Mont Buet, the Diosaz river has cut its way in the rocks and formed this spectaculat gorge, with numerous waterfalls.
Admiring this natural wonder is not difficult, because there is an easy path to it, well equipped with secure railings and catwalks.
It is open to visitors from May to October. In July and August the opening time is from 8.30 to 18.30.
The entire visit takes just 1 hour and a half.

I paid only a short visit to Servoz, but I noticed that information posted at the Tourist Information Office described a good deal of initiatives, such as exhibitions, concerts, festivals. The Tourist Information Office is situated just opposite to the Mairie, and if you happen to visit this village I recommend you to check here if there are any activities planned for that day. Or even before planning your trip you can check the programme in the official website of the communities of Servoz and Les Houches, in the section "Animation".

Servoz is a nice village in the region near the Mont Blanc. It is close to the borders of two natural reserves: the Reserve Naturelle de Passy, and the Reserve Naturelle de Carlveyron.
