Actually I did not need a taxi when I went to Servoz, because the intention was just to walk around. I noticed the sign advertising the taxi service because it was so cute. Very different from usual advertising posts.
For those who stay in this village for a holiday, and do not have a car, this taxi service is certainly helpful, especially when arriving or leaving with luggage, to get from the train station to their destination. In fact the station is a bit out of the village.

Servoz has its own little railway station, on the line of the Mont-Blanc-Express. Trains run every hour and connect this village with the more famous town of Chamonix and many other villages of the region. Actually, one of the end-stations of this train is Martigny, in Switzerland, so a tourist who wants to get to Servoz from Geneva (for instance) can travel by train from Geneva and change train in Martigny.

Servoz is a nice village in the region near the Mont Blanc. It is close to the borders of two natural reserves: the Reserve Naturelle de Passy, and the Reserve Naturelle de Carlveyron.
