Pattisserie PAUL is a chain of pattisseries/sandwich shops, also present at the CDG airport.
In my opinion the number of food & drink shops at CDG is rather limited, so the shop seating area is a kind of battle field.
The food & drinks are of high quality.

The Roissybus brings you from the airport to the Paris l'Opera in about 1 hour for Euro 10,--.
Tickets must be bought at the ticketmachine in the waiting rooms at the busstops. So bring 2 Euro coins or a bank card. The ticket machines are the same types you find in the Paris Métro stations. Multiple language are available.
You have to validate your ticket when entering the bus at a small machine (that will buzz) at the bus entrance.
The bus has stops at all terminals (multiple at terminal 2).
During daytime from 6AM to 8.45PM on average a bus departs every 15 minutes, thereafter till 11PM each 20 minutes.
The Roissybus is run by the RATP (Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens), also running the Paris Regional trains, Metro and Bus system. On one occasion on our way to the Airport we made a small detour at Noon to the RATP bus garage to change drivers.

This Paris airport shuttle service is less expensive than a taxi, can take until 8 people, no night rates, but you have to book it a few days ago. On the other way, your driver is waiting for you at the airport. No time to lose.

Favorite thing: Arriving at CDG is like in any modern airport.
From the gates you go one level down to luggage claim.
Arrival times can be found at the Airport´s website.

Favorite thing: The CDG Airport has three terminals. The circular Terminal 1 is the oldest and now in use for long flights.
Terminal 2 was originally built exclusively for Air France. Terminal 2 expanded with several sections and nowadays is host to many European flights. Terminal 2 also has an RER and TGV station.
Terminal 3 hosts charter and low-cost airlines.

Favorite thing: Departures are located at the upper level. There are elevators and escalators in the terminals.
Departures times of the flights and check-in/gate location are displayed on many screens.
Check-in is in most cases automated, so you have to print your own gate pass by scanning your passport or entering your electronic ticket code.
At the seating area around the gates are small food & drinks shops present and an Internet area.
