AS Monaco Football

by Sam1860

You cannot go wrong. The best seats always available. Front row for every event minus the UEFA Super Cup. A great football team steeped in history is a must for any sports fan. After travelling around Europe, it will shock you that no game sells out and 5 minutes before kickoff tickets are available at the ticket booth for front row.

House-Boating

by sus.home

Try renting a house-boat in France. Living on a house-boat is great! And in France you don't need any kind of driving-license and you will see a lot of interesting spots. If you like it a bit sporty: The "Canal du Midi" offers you a lot of possibilities. And with more than 40 locks (hand-moved, you are expected to help) on a way, that you travel within 1 week, you sure will be occupied. Don't forget to bring bikes and you will also be able to see more than the water-street, you are travelling on. Most of the boat-rentals also offer bikes, this should be no problem then. The small old villages around are very nice. Attention: the canal is surrounded by small mountains. This means a lot of work when you are biking. And the boats mostly are not big enough to bring your new and very modern sports-bike. So you will depend on the force of your own muscles. If you do this trip somewhen out of...

Pool

by dr.firas

It was a lovely Sunday, Benjamin told me after a good lunch, heavy one with good meat, somone, and wine that we should go do sport! I told him I adore pool, and he said:don't you know we have the biggest pool hall in Tours in all France, and I goes: Wow!What are we waiting for, lets go,I play good, but I lost the party, as Benjamin is a real Professional in pool, the main thing we had fun, and for keeping the memory, we took that funny picture as if we were both aiming to shot in the same time LOL

Kayaking

by Igraine

In the gorges of the Ardeche you have the possibilty to kayak or canoe a 21 km trip. Its long when you havent done it a lot but its worth it. The views are stunning, its always hot, the water luke warm.On the way there are some barrages that are exciting to do. Beware not fall out of the canoe, haha. At the end you will be returned to yr starting point. Swimsuit, sun tan lotion, t shirt, shoes for in the water and your lunch!

Cycling the Alps

by bicycle_girl

Cycling the French Alps is a must do if you love biking. Be sure to have an array of gears on your bike including a small chainring for climbing and also a good granny gear! You will also need good breaks as sometimes you will go down for 50 km at a time!!! French people are really in love with cyclists (thanks to the Tour de France) so don't be surprised if they ask you if you are in the Tour the France this year!!! My chaining is 52-42-26 in the front and 11-32 in the back. With that I can challenge myself with most hills even with 65 pounds of gear on the bike. Make sure you bring a good pair of gloves and warm clothes for the descent.

Skiing in France

by Vicbluejewel

You must go to The French Alps to go skiing. They have the largest skiing resort in the world. it's call the 3 Valleys. You don't have to buy ski equipment, only real thick socks. You can rent everything there (skis, shoes..)

Skied the Valle Blanche in Chamonix If you're going to ride both trams up to the Aguille, make sure to bring your ropes, shovels, beacons, etc...and ski with a guide. We didn't and that was stupid!
