Troyes is the French equivalent to York.There are six historic churches and a cathedral.Each is a treasure house of sculpture,stained glass and paintings.There are are also seven fine museums.More details are given on my web site.It's the same distance from Paris as Reims and can easily be reached by train.When you come to Troyes it's like opening a door into history.There's the pleasure of walking down streets lined with half-timbered houses.All of the historic building have a myriad of details that cannot be taken in in a day.
