EURO DISNEY, PARIS. Having been to both Disneyland and Disneyworld in U.S this place was a dissappointment! They have all the exciting rides but no soul to it. Customer service was bad, they hardly smiled, plus it was disorganised. I saw people trying to jump the queu left right and center.

by DNaturalist

My boyfriend badgered me into going to a burlesque show. I think it was the Crazy Horse Saloon -- they bill it as a cultural event with sophisticated (choreographed!) dancing intercut with men who are clowns -- literally --but it's just an overpriced t&a show for men. I don't recommend this type of thing for women who are sensitive to porn or for men who sincerely consider themselves religious. I'm not thin-skinned or a prude, but I felt uncomfortable, like I was tacitly approving of the objectification of women. Sorry, no photo.

BEWARE OF PICKPOCKETS - especially at passenger terminals. I had my passport and wallet pickpocketed at the Gare du Nord station within minutes of arriving in Paris! I refused to allow it to spoil my trip to a breathtakingly beautiful city.

Paris airport

by nicole8

Airport.. Airport in Paris there are 2 terminals.. it`s confusing which one you should go..I went to the wrong terminal and wasted me much time to take the shuttle bus to terminal 1... Terminal 2is for the planes of AirFrance.. for all the other airline companies, you have to go to Terminal 1 Check carefully and find your airplane company before you get on the shuttle bus

Montmarte (did I spell it right?)It is a cute little artist villiage above the city and if you are going to Sacre Coeur you have to go... it IS beautiful and provides a great view of Paris! However, the artists - who ARE trying to earn a living - can be a little pushy as I learned when I was suckered into buying a paper cut-out of myself for 10 Euro. What was wrong with me that day? Also, there are shops/cafes that will charge as much as 4.75 Euro for a can of Coca-Cola (yes, again, I paid it) and other outrageous prices for the simplest things. My advise is to stop and buy a bottle of water and anything you might need for a short stay up there before you go.This reflects my personal opinion and isn't necessarily negative. I do recommend that you go for the experience... just don't get suckered like me.

Airport of Paris! and Air France, if u can avoid Air France and any change of plane in Paris, if you are lucky they will loose your baggage, if your less lucky they wuill loose and damage it... if are not lucky they will simply loose and never give it back to you... ok if your had a bad fight with luck they will loose on your going way...

by Sheri_Z

We tried to eat in the restaurant in the Eiffel Tower. After 25 minutes and no bread or menu, and no sign of a waiter, we gave up and left. I was later told this is due to the new 35 hour rule (in place of the 40 hour week) but after telling the hostess, and then warning her we'd leave (and no bread or menu from her either) enough is enough.

We totally got ripped off by artists drawing our portraits. They moved in quickly, chatted us up while drawing and then Grandfather wanted to buy them to remember the trip. What a rip off. I feel foolish now, and still have the picture, but I suggest its easier to run away!

by Robin26

Be really careful in Montmartre. Sacre Coeur is beautiful and the market is well worth a visit but there is a plague of 'artists' who will do a pretty poor portrait of you and charge you the earth. The salesmen can be very aggressive and if you don't fancy a fight just take a rolled up piece of paper with you to indicate you've already been conned/drawn! If you do want a portrait go to one of the artists in the main square and sit for it. However, make sure you negociate the price BEFORE they start.
